MUMBAI: Hina Khan will be soon making her Bollywood debut. The ace actress confirmed the news with a leading entertainment publication and revealed that the story of the film is set in the Kashmir of the 90s. The film is a female-centric one, and she expressed her excitement on challenging herself in a new medium.

Hina also said that she loves the fact that it’s set in a time and place where the cast will be away from the hustle and bustle of city life, technology, and competition. Veteran actress Farida Jalal will also be a part of the flick.

Playing the hero opposite the actress will be Rishi Bhutani. Rishi will portray the role of one of Hina's cousins who will eventually end up marrying her, as per media reports.

Rishi, while talking to leading portal, said that it’s good to be a part of the film, as it is an interesting character and he will be essaying a Pakistani guy. He also stated that Hina is a great co-star to work and that she didn’t come with the baggage of being a successful star.

Rishi made his debut in Bollywood in 2009 with a movie titled Bolo Raam and was a part of Ram Ratan.
