I am the first Khan who hit 100 crore at the box-office: Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan
Bollywood is a place where you will encounter cut-throat competition. It’s a place where there are no permanent friends and no permanent foes. You are only as good as your last hit. And with the advent of the new 100 crore club courtesy SRK, the existing competition has only intensified. And it’s common knowledge that SRK had trounced Aamir's 3 idiots at the box-office to emerge as one of the highest grossers of all times. When we asked Aamir on his box-office expectations from Dhoom 3 and if it would beat Chennai Express, the perfectionist actor's first response was: "Let me tell you. I am the first Khan who hit 100 crore at the box-office." While we were digesting the enormity of this statement, Aamir immediately added that he was just joking. Now somehow Aamir we don't believe that was really a joke. Come to think of it, Aamir really was the first Khan who scored 100 crore at the box-office. Aamir later went on to say that he doesn't believe in numbers at all. “Most people might not believe me when I say that. But seriously, I want my films to be a huge success and win audiences' heart. I want them to feel great about my films when they exit cinema halls. What excites me about 3 idiots is that it has touched people's heart than doing 202 crore business. Everyone really enjoyed it and that is what I want and expect for Dhoom 3 as well.” Now somehow Aamir, we feel box-office success and moolah do excite you equally well as it will excite any other Khan.
