I like censorship, says Sunny Leone

Sunny Leone

While most of Bollywood is opposed to CBFC's new draconian way of functioning, there is one actress who looks less bothered about the prevailing brouhaha. And it's none other than Sunny Leone.

The former adult actress whose Bollywood movies too have been 'A' rated surprisingly loves censorships.

Shares Sunny, "Censor board censors things based on what they think is right to be shown to the general public. America too has censorship. You can't show anything and everything on TV. It goes on special channels. I like censorship because they censor most of my scenes and cut it out. What should be censored in India is not my prerogative to say."

Ask her if censoring original content takes the edge away from films and Sunny says, "It simply depends on what one wants to create. I come from a country where one could do anything and everything. So my views would be a bit more different as compared to someone who is born and raised here. My views would be a bit more liberal. In America and Canada,  free speech is a basic right. you could say lesbian all day long, use the F-word, talk about gay rights. And your movies could have everything as long as it is within the guidelines of what is rated R or PG 13."

Sunny whose next film Leela too is A rated however admits, "I am the wrong person to ask this question to."
