The lingering fear that wraps you in cold chills usually stems from the sins of your past and can invariably make you see and hear things that are just a figment of your imagination. The Lodge laden with mystery, paranoia and a deranged past about a suicide cult will be having its Indian Televison Premiere this Sunday, August 9 on Zee Café at 2PM, &flix at 1PM and 9PM and &PrivéHD at 3PM. Starring Riley Keough, Jaeden Martell, Lia McHugh and Richard Armitage, the movie about your past meeting your present in an intertwined fate makes for a must watch cold blooded psychotic horror.
Escaping from an unsettling past, Grace Marshall (Riley Keough) who is a step-mother to Aidan (Jaeden Martell) and young Mia (Lia McHugh) decides to spend Christmas in the cold eerie isolated family lodge where she hopes to reconcile with her step kids. Unbeknownst to her, the lodge holds a secret that reveals to the kids the horrors that Grace and her father, a leader of a suicide cult were a part of. As things get out of hand, Grace loses a bit of her sanity when she realises that she is playing a pawn in one of her own mind games and faces an existential crisis that she must get out of by purging herself of her own guilt.
The Lodge drives a wedge in the plot that makes the audiences question the very fabric of reality in this nerve wrecking premiere.
