Though Ranbir might not be as vocal about his relationships, his mother and veteran actress Neetu Kapoor has often talked about her future daughter-in-law. Once, in a special episode of India's Most Desirable, hosted by Simi Garewal, Ranbir’s parents Neetu and Rishi had joined via videos wherein they had answered questions about Ranbir, his relationships, and his future married life.
Speaking of the kind of girl she would like as her daughter-in-law, Neetu had then described that there are two types of girls in the world. She said that one is the kind that comes with scissors and one is the kind that comes with needles. But before you jump the gun thinking what Neetu meant by this, she had explained her analogy. Neetu wanted to explain the kinds of people who break and make a family. The actress made a reference to scissors for someone who will not keep the family connected while she used needles for the ones who will keep the family together. Neetu had said, "There are two kinds of girls, one who comes with scissors and one who comes with needles. Scissors are the ones who break the family and the ones who come with needles kind of mend the family and will make sure the family is together and that’s the girl I would like."
The ace actress, who is extremely close to Ranbir and also shares the warmest bond with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt, had also opened up about how she will feel when his son will have somebody special in his life. She had then talked about how she’ll treat her future daughter-in-law. "I would love it! I would love when he’ll have someone in his life, his wife. And I am sure I am going to adore my daughter-in-law because I want to see my son happy and if that girl is making my son happy, I would just pamper and spoil her silly," she had said.
