It’s been six months since Tiger Shroff’s debut in Sabir Khan’s Hero-Panti was announced. A leading lady has finally been found for Jackie Shroff’s cub.
She is model-actress Kriti Sanon. And she’s been discovered just in time.

It’s been six months since Tiger Shroff’s debut in Sabir Khan’s Hero-Panti was announced. A leading lady has finally been found for Jackie Shroff’s cub.
She is model-actress Kriti Sanon. And she’s been discovered just in time.
Hero-panti was all set to take off this month without a leading lady for Tiger. Tiger’s parents Jackie and Ayesha Shroff were very patient, knowing very well that they can trust the team to do justice to their son.
But time was ticking by. There was so sign of a heroine. All the reports claiming that Suniel Shetty’s daughter is a prime candidate for the heroine’s position were false. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Sabir Khan had decided to start shooting with Tiger this month without a lady love.
Says the source, “Nadiadwala feels responsible for the boy’s career. Shooting would now start in January 2013 with Tiger’s action sequences. These would be followed in the next schedule by romantic scenes with his leading lady.”
When asked if Kirti Sanon is his lady love in Hero-Panti Tiger happily responded, “It looks like it.”
Tiger confirms he is training hard for his part. Sajid, we hear, has ordered a rigorous regime for the boy so that he looks like a “non-gym going ruffian from a mofussil town in Uttar Pradesh”.
Says the source, “The role is akin to the toughie that Tiger’s father played in Subhash Ghai’s Hero. But far more action-oriented. The fights would have an untrained unrehearsed flavor to them, like the flare-ups that occur in the small-towns between rival groups of youngsters.
The idea is to lose the city-bred gym-going look. And now that Tiger is ready with the look, the shooting of the action scenes will start in January.
Says Tiger, “I’ve been training like crazy. Every morning there’s gymnastics and dance rehearsals. In the night I run and I practice martial arts. It’s a very focused regime that doesn’t leave me much time to for a social life. That makes me a kind of not-so-cool guy.”
Tiger admits the training for the film leaves him no time to get a love life. “The closest I’ll get to a girlfriend is the one I’ll have in my film.”
But Shroff Jr says he is happy. “I’ve been happy since Sajid Sir (Nadiadwala) signed me in June. Other than being one of the biggest producers in town he’s one of the most decent people in the industry. He’s giving me a dream launch.”
