MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 19 has concluded with Gaurav Khanna lifting the trophy along with a prize money of 50 lakh rupees. Farrhana Bhatt emerged as the first runner-up, followed by Pranit More, who finished his journey as the second runner-up.
Farrhana and Gaurav had a major fight in the house, during which Gaurav told her that he would win the trophy and she would be seen clapping for him — a moment that eventually came true during the grand finale.
In an interview with Film Window, Farrhana addressed the incident and clarified that she didn’t clap for Gaurav, but for the respect she had for the trophy. She shared that she was genuinely happy about his win. She said, “The thing is, it was not for GK. My mind went numb when the winner was announced. I turned to Salman Khan, and he nodded, confirming that GK had won. After that, I clapped to congratulate him. It was out of respect for the show and the trophy, not for the person who won it. Whatever he thinks… maybe Farrhana Bhatt’s claps are important for him, so be it.”
Further, while interacting with the media, Bhatt added that she never had her eyes on the trophy; she only aimed to make a mark and win people’s hearts.
In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar.com, Farrhana shared that she doesn’t believe the show was biased. She said, “No, I don’t feel the show was biased. He (Gaurav Khanna) is already a well-known face on television, and viewers supported him because they like him. His fanbase helped him secure the title.”
For the unversed Tanya Mittal was eliminated at the fourth spot followed by Amaal Mallik at the fifth spot.
