MUMBAI: The entertainment industry has been left shaken by the tragic and untimely demise of actor and engineer Sachin Chandwade, best known for his notable performance in the acclaimed web series Jamtara 2.
The young artist, aged just 25, reportedly died by suicide, leaving fans and colleagues in deep sorrow.
According to reports, Sachin was discovered hanging at his residence in Parola, located in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district, on 23 October 2025.
He was immediately taken to a private hospital before being transferred to another facility in Dhule as his condition deteriorated. Despite all medical efforts, he tragically passed away in the early hours of 24 October, around 1:30 a.m.
Police have registered a case of accidental death, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the exact circumstances that led to this heartbreaking incident.
A native of Jalgaon, Chandwade had earned admiration for his ability to juggle two demanding careers one as a talented performer in Marathi cinema and digital entertainment, and the other as a software engineer at an IT park in Pune.
His dedication and versatility stood as an inspiration to many young professionals striving to pursue their passions alongside their careers.
Just days before his death, Sachin had shared the promotional poster of his upcoming Marathi film Asurvan, in which he played a leading role.
