Kajol is one of the few actresses who speaks to the point and doesn’t mince words. Kajol is known to be effervescent and bubbly and is generally a hoot in interviews and media interactions. She recently featured in the podcast series of Neha Dhupia titled No Filter Neha and spilled the beans on her personal life, especially on her relationship with Ajay Devgn.
Kajol got candid with Neha and said that no one wanted her to marry Ajay, except for her and his family. Even her father was upset that she was getting married and didn’t talk to her for a week. He asked her why she wanted to give up her career when she was on the top and get married, but she remained stubborn.
Kajol and Ajay married when they were both quite young and doing well in their careers. Back then, actresses did not marry at the peak of their careers, as married actresses were not as successful. However, Kajol said that she has been married to Ajay for almost 19 years and has survived this long because they have worked through it together.
Kajol and Ajay married in 1999 and have two children, Nysa and Yug, together. Their marriage is one of the most stable ones in Bollywood.
