Kangana Ranaut begins virtual script reading session for 'Dhaakad'

Kangana Ranaut is back to work, and looks excited as she starts prepping for her upcoming film Dhaadak.

MUMBAI: Ever since lockdown began, Bollywood celebrities had been making the most of their free time, spending quality time with their loved ones, or exploring new hobbies. Kangana Ranaut, who is currently with her family in Manali, was recently seen having the time of her life amid nature, as she enjoyed a picnic with her sister Rangoli Chandel, nephew Prithvi and other family members. Amid the perfect landscape, Kangana and her family seem to have enjoyed a lot. Now, however, it’s work mode for the actress as she began prepping for her upcoming project Dhaakad.

While Kangana Ranaut isn’t on social media, her team keeps fans updated with everything. Recently, they posted two screenshots of Kangana’s video call with her Dhaakad team- screenwriter Ritesh Shah, producer Sohail Maklai and director Razneesh Ghai. They all engaged in a virtual script reading session, and going by the expressions on Kangana’s face, she couldn’t be happier to begin working on the film once again. Kangana looks extremely joyful and excited in the pictures shared by her team on social media.

The caption read, “It's a virtual script reading session for #KanganaRanaut @RazyGhai, @writishand @SohailMaklai as they start preparing for #Dhaakad #LockdownScriptSessions.”

Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Panga, in which she played the role of a mother and a former Kabaddi player who makes a comeback to the sport. She will next be seen in Thalaivi and Dhaakad. While Dhaakad was scheduled for a Diwali release this year, it looks like the film will be postponed owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Kangana will also be seen in the film Tejas, in which she will play the lead role of the Indian Air Force pilot.
