MUMBAI: Subha Rajput is probably one actor who would have never imagined that her interest for monologues from Indian and international shows will one day help her bag a movie.
Subha has been delivering monologues from famous shows like FRIENDS and more on her Instagram account for years. It is during the lockdown this year that she happened to see Kartik Aaryan’s monologue on his instagram account and wished to do something similar as it was her area of interest.

“One day a friend of mine and I were just sitting at home and happened to see Kartik Aaryan’s monologue which he created during the lockdown. We randomly decided to do our version of the monologue and it came out pretty well. I posted that on my social media which drew a lot of attention and praises. After a few days, I got a call from a production house and they offered me a role. They informed me that they happened to see my monologue and quite liked it. They were looking for a role which suited the character I played in the monologue. Next I know that I am a part of Zee 5’s movie titled, The Comedy Couple," said Shubha.
The actress further added, “I cannot disclose my role in the movie but it is surely worth it. The cast is stupendous and we shot a majority of it during the lockdown in Mumbai and Delhi. I never imagined that my social media account would help me bag a movie and I would like to thank Kartik Aaryan for this as it is because of him that I got inspired to shoot a monologue. I will convey a personal thank you message to him the day I get to meet him."
Subha Rajput was last seen opposite Prateik Babbar in the movie Yaaram last year. Her claim to fame has been Star Plus' much loved show, Ishqbaaz.
