Doe said that he proceeded to grab his massage table before fleeing the residence.

He is now suing the former House Of Cards star for sexual battery, battery, assault, and false imprisonment.

It's easy to work with Tom: Riz Ahmed

Emmy Award-winning British Pakistani actor and rapper Riz Ahmed says working with actor Tom Hardy in Venom was really easy and fun.

"Tom is really, really committed, and I think a lot of people can see that from his performances. So, you know, he got, you know, definitely got into shape as he always does, for this role. And, to be honest, I found it really easy and, and fun working with Tom," Ahmed said in a statement.

"You know, I've known him for a very long time. And the last time we worked together was 11 years ago. We've kept in touch back and forth. And so it was nice to be reunited with him. So it was actually very chill," added the actor, who essays the role of antagonist Carlton Drake in the film.

On his character, he said, "My character is a billionaire industrialist with a background in medical technology who is very worried about the future of humanity. And he feels like mankind will be extinct once the planet collapses ecologically because of everything we're doing to the environment. And so he's actually trying to find a solution for that."

The film stars Hardy as Eddie Brock and as Venom. It follows the popular Marvel anti-hero as he transforms from a go-getter journalist to powerful alien symbiote.

Venom was created in 1988 by Marvel Comics. The character made his big screen debut more than a decade ago in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3, where he was portrayed by Topher Grace. The movie is intended to be the first film in Sony's Marvel Universe.

Sony Pictures India is bringing the film to the country. The film will release in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on 5 October.

Cowell to donate over $326,000 to shut down dog meat farm

Music mogul Simon Cowell has agreed to donate over $326,000 to help close a dog meat farm in South Korea.

The America's Got Talent judge, 58, has agreed to donate the amount to Humane Society International (HSI), a charity that addresses animal issues worldwide, reports suggest so.

HSI tweeted about Cowell's donation on Friday.

They say his money will save over 200 dogs and puppies from a South Korean dog farm that breeds the animals for human consumption. The charity plans to go there next week to pick up the canines, after which they will send the dogs to various countries including the US, Canada, UK, and the Netherlands for recovery and adoption.

"Simon's generous donation means the world to us, and provides a huge boost to our appeal to close this horrendous dog meat farm," HSI UK Executive Director Claire Bass said in a statement.

Salma Hayek joins 'Limited Partners' cast

Actress Salma Hayek has joined Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne in the comedy Limited Partners.

Miguel Arteta is directing the Paramount Pictures comedy, reports suggest so.

Haddish and Byrne play best girlfriends who build a successful company, only to find their bond tested when a big buyout offer comes their way.

Production on Limited Partners is set for October, with a June 2019 release in the works.

Hayek most recently starred in The Hummingbird Project, directed by Kim Nguyen, and The Hitman's Bodyguard.

Dua Lipa, Missy Elliott join AMA lineup

Dua Lipa, Ciara and Missy Elliott have joined the American Music Awards lineup.

The announcement was made by Dick Clark Productions and ABC, reports suggest so.

Dua Lipa will perform two songs from her self-titled 2017 debut album, including the hit "Electricity", while Elliott will be a featured guest on two Ciara songs: "Level Up" released earlier this year, and "Dose," from her forthcoming album.

The three join previously announced performers Cardi B (featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin), Benny Blanco, Halsey, Khalid, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, and Post Malone featuring Ty Dolla Sign.

There will also be a tribute to Aretha Franklin, who passed away in July.

Tracee Ellis Ross is hosting the fan-voted awards show, which will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater here on 9 October.

Cardi B has tied Drake for the most AMA nominations this year, with each scoring eight nods.

Coleen Nolan returns to Twitter

Singer and TV personality Coleen Nolan, who had not been using social media following an on-air argument with Kim Woodburn on the show Loose Women, has returned to Twitter.

Nolan, 53, took to Twitter to break her silence by posting a cryptic message about making a life change, reports suggest so.

She posted a picture of a sunset, and it had the words "Change your thoughts, transform your life" written on it.

Earlier while announcing her "immediate hiatus" from Loose Women, a statement read on her behalf, "Following the constant online bullying, trolling, and misrepresentation of her words, actions and re-actions, it is with sad regret that Coleen is taking an immediate hiatus from her current commitments including Loose Women and postponing her 'Never Too Late' solo concert tour.

"Coleen is devastated to let her supporters and fans down, but is currently not strong to withstand this constant and unfounded online abuse, so she will be taking time out and spending it with her children and family where she feels loved and respected."

Woodburn walked out of her interview on Loose Women after clashing with Nolan about their time together in the Celebrity Big Brother House.

‘Godzilla' actor fascinated by humanity in India

Godzilla: Final Wars actor Jonathan Legg, who will be seen on Indian television screens with travel show Road Less Travelled for which he explored India, says "humanity" is a good word for the country.

Road Less Travelled, to be aired on EPIC channel 1 October, features Legg as he travels through India in search of exotic and unique experiences.

On his experience of shooting in India, Legg said in a statement, "Producer Sashi De threw me into the deep end on our very first episode of the show by choosing Rath Yatra in Orissa (Odisha) as our destination. What a pulsating, glorious stew of humanity this was! Humanity is a good word for India.

"Glance down a side street in Calcutta (Kolkata) and you can see about every activity taking place: People brushing their teeth, showing, working, eating, conversing, sleeping... Go to Bollywood and you can find humans at their most flamboyant, go to Varanasi and you can find them at their most transcendent, go to the slums and you find humanity at its most resourceful.

"In Delhi, you have humans who live by one code, in Leh something different, and in Shillong different again. But everywhere you go the people are peaceable and approachable, kind and gentle."

Bill Cosby's walk of fame star damaged

Veteran comedian Bill Cosby's Hollywood Walk of Fame star got vandalised following his imprisonment over drugging and sexually assaulting a woman.

According to tmz.com, the star was ruined earlier this week when a US court sentenced him to jail and labelled him as a "sexually violent predator". The star now reads words like "serial rapist" and "MeToo" on it.

Still, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has decided not to remove Cosby's star even after he was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison.

Cosby was sentenced on Tuesday by a court in Norristown, Pennsylvania for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004.

The 81-year-old's "sexually violent predator" label implies that he must undergo counselling for life and appear on the sex offenders' registry.
