MUMBAI: Vicky Kaushal made his acting debut with Neeraj Ghaywan’s critically acclaimed movie, Masaan in 2015. He has now established himself as one of the popular actors in the industry.
He has proved his mettle in movies such as Raazi, Manmaarziyaan, URI: The Surgical Strike, Bhoot: The Haunted Ship Part One, and more. However, there were times when Vicky faced rejection from the industry. Take a look.

Vicky had earlier revealed that before Masaan, he had auditioned for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s sports biopic, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and got rejected for the part. In a chat show, Vicky had revealed that he was the original choice for Rajkummar Rao’s hit movie Stree but he turned it down for the reasons best known to him.
Vicky had almost rejected Uri: The Surgical Strike that helped him bag a National Award for Best Actor. His father Sham Kaushal had revealed that Vicky didn't connect with the film's script at first. But he told Vicky it would be a big mistake if didn't do this film.
