MUMBAI: Dance iconic and the most beautiful actress of the Hindi film Industry Madhuri Dixit had faced a tough time acing those difficult moves for the camera. Did you know that Madhuri Dixit had to give 40 retakes for her iconic 'Tamma Tamma' along with Sanjay Dutt? Yes, you read that right. Madhuri herself had confirmed this incident in an earlier interview.

When the actress was asked for which song/film she had given maximum retakes, the actor told, ‘We (Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri) gave maximum takes with the chair for Tamma tamma (Thanedar 1990), choreographed by Saroj ji (Saroj Khan). We did like 40 retakes.’
She added,‘Even if one of us made a slight mistake, we had to do it again. Finally, we did an entire shot perfectly. In the end, the cap had to fall on my foot and stay there. But it fell and rolled off. So we had to do it all over again.’
One of the most iconic party songs and the foot-tapping number featured in the 1990 release, Thanedaar was praised by the audience till now. The Raj Sippy directorial also casted Jitendra and Jaya Prada in key roles. In fact, the song was remake for the Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt feature, Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
On professional terms, the actress was last seen in the Prime Video release, Maja Ma. She is currently seen as one of the judges on Dance Deewane.
