The pretty actress has been around for quite some time but it is the Airtel ad featuring her as a corporate boss that has finally clinched her the all important Bollywood project opposite none other than superstar Akshay Kumar. Madhurima will be seen playing Akshay Kumar's wife in the Neeraj Pandey directed Baby. Talking exclusively to Tellychakkar.com, Madhurima said, "I am speechless right now. I can't digest the fact that I am doing a film opposite Akshay Kumar." Madhurima who shot for this movie yesterday in Delhi couldn't sleep a wink the night before the day of the shoot. But thankfully Akshay's down- to-earth and modest nature put the newcomer at ease. Narrating her first meeting with Akshay yesterday, Madhurima said, "Akshay sir is a gem of a person. He is so down-to-earth despite being such a huge star. Acting with him is such a great honour. Yes it does put extra pressure on you but right now I am too speechless." Ever since news of her being cast opposite Akshay broke out, Madhurima has been inundated with congratulatory calls and messages. And all this because of the Airtel ad that brought her to Neeraj Pandey's notice. "It's unfolding like a dream. Neeraj sir called me for the audition after seeing me in the ad and selected me." For the moment, Madhurima is back in Mumbai while the rest of the crew would travel from Delhi to Abu Dhabi before returning to Mumbai. Baby, co-produced and directed by Neeraj Pandey also co stars Tapsee Pannu along with Akshay Kumar and Madhurima Tuli.
