
MUMBAI: The #MeToo Movement took the whole industry by storm. So many actresses and other women related to the field came forward with shocking revelations and allegations against male personalities of the industry. People were truly shocked with all the revelations that came forward and many could not believe such allegations.
One of the cases was Tanushree Dutta vs Nana Patekar where the latter, along with three others were accused of harassment during the filming of 2008 movie ‘Horn OK Pleasss’. This was the case that helped the ‘Me Too’ movement gain momentum in the country.
Tanushree Dutta came forward to file a case against them, the news went viral, and for a long time the case was still running in the court but not anymore. As per latest reports, A Mumbai court has refused to take cognizance of Tanushree Dutta’s 2018 complaint against Nana Patekar, stating it is beyond the period of limitation.
Nana Patekar was last seen in the movie Vanvaas, starring Utkarsh Sharma and Simratt Kaur, and Rajpal Yadav. The movie was directed by Rajat Rakshit.
