MUMBAI: Hindi film Industry actor Shah Rukh Khan is an all time favourite for his onscreen leading ladies including Kajol, Anushka, Juhi and many more. Although none of them is Shah Rukh’s best friend.

SRK’s best friend was his classmate in acting school where the actor also claims she is the one who taught him acting. She is the daughter of a popular Hindi Film Industry actress and has worked in superhits like Jab We Met, Dil Dhadakne Do and more. She is none other than Divya Seth.
Divya Seth is the daughter of popular Indian cinema actress Sushma Seth. Divya made her debut in India’s first soap opera Hum Log.
She then worked in several television shows over the span of her career and became a superstar for the television industry. Divya and Shah Rukh Khan’s friendship went back to their acting school days. They both also collaborated together in Lekh Tandon’s show Dil Darya. Shah Rukh Khan once shared an image with her on his social media handle and called her his ‘bestest friend’ and wrote, “My bestest friend Divya, who taught me acting. Don’t hold the bad ones I do, only the good inspired by her teachings.”
Apart from television, the actress also starred in films and played the role of Shahid Kapoor’s mother in Jab We Met which was helmed by Imtiaz Ali. Her other notable films include English Vinglish in which she shares the screen space with late actress Sridevi, Dil Dhadakne Do with Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, and Shefali Shah among others. She has also starred in various Ott series like City of Dreams, Duranga, The Married Woman, and Sandwiched Forever and many more
