Meet the new bikini babe in South...Khushi Mukherjee

She is all of 19 but is already creating ripples in the Southern movie industry for her ultra bold moves. Meet Khushi Mukherjee, a Bong babe from Mumbai who has landed plump roles in two big budget South Indian movies courtesy her boldness. In her kitty today is mega-budget Tamil movie Anjal Thurai produced by famous south producer P Chinnusamy and Telugu movie Donga Prema opposite Telugu superstar Jai Akash. It was a bikini shoot for a fashion magazine that brought her into spotlight and caught the filmmakers’ attention. And the young lass is quite nonchalant about it as well. “Yes I had done a bikini shoot for a fashion magazine some time back and had uploaded the pictures on my Facebook profile. The makers of the movie came across these pictures and they signed me on for the film,” says Khushi who has also appeared in Bindaas channel’s popular show Emotional Atyachaar. “Well that was all scripted. The producers wanted me to act a part and I just took it up because I thought it would be fun,” says Khushi. Though bikini is what got her the film roles, Khushi surprisingly won’t be seen donning a bikini in her forthcoming movies as her character doesn’t demand wearing one in the movie. But she says wearing one in future is no big deal for her. “I have a great body and feel can carry off a bikini quite well. And if there is a role which needs me to wear a swimsuit, I am all for it,” explains Khushi. And nor are kissing scenes a big deal for her. “Even Aamir Khan has kissed on screen. I believe as an actor one should be like water which means he or she should be flexible enough to portray different characters and acting onscreen.” Well that’s quite a bold statement coming for a young new comer, we should say. Reminds us of a certain Silk Smitha who was frank and bold right from the start of her career.
