MUMBAI: Filmmaker Satish Kaushik who appeared on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, recalls how he got cast for Shyam Benegal's film Mandi. He says, “He asked me for my pictures and told me to leave them to Raj. I didn’t have my pictures with me because I knew with my pictures, I would never get cast in a film. Mandi casting was going on that time and hence without missing out on that opportunity, I improvised and told him that I don’t have my pictures but have my X-ray reports. I am very good-looking from the inside. Shyam ji laughed so much, he told me I bagged the film and sign the contract.”
