MUMBAI: Shibani Dandekar tied the knot with Farhan Akhtar in an intimate ceremony in the presence of their respective families and close friends. And while the newlyweds have been busy with their post-wedding celebrations, they have made sure to keep their fans intrigued with their stunning picturess on social media. The wedding marks the actor’s second marriage after his divorce from Adhuna Bhabani.
Farhan and entrepreneur-stylist Adhuna parted ways in 2017 after being married to each other for 15 long years. Then, rumours mills went abuzz with Farhan’s link-up news with Aditi Rao Hydari.
Soon after their announcement, many speculated that Aditi Rao Hydari was the reason behind their separation. Aditi and Farhan were shooting for the 2016 film Wazir back then.
But actress said, “It’s part of our job…There are some days when I am irritated for five minutes and then we all laugh and get on with our work. I actually find it entertaining.”
The actress made her on-screen debut for the Tamil film Sringaram, which was released in 2007. But her first theatrical release was Malayalam film Prajapathi in 2006. She rose to fame after her performance in Sudhir Mishra's 2011 romantic thriller film Yeh Saali Zindagi, a role that won her the Screen Award in the Best Supporting Actress category.
Aditi's Malayalam drama Hey Sinamika, which also stars Dulquer Salmaan and Kajal Aggarwal, was recently released.
