Talented and versatile thespian Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s father passed away earlier this week due to brain haemorrhage.
Nawaz, who earned rave reviews for his performance in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, lost his father, Nawabuddin, on Monday evening when he was being taken to Tarawati Hospital, Saharanpur district.
Nawabuddin, 76, has been suffering from paralysis. He visited his native town of Budhana from Mumbai on the occasion of Eid.
The last rites will be performed here in Mumbai today in the afternoon.
