No Entry 2: Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor are set to begin filming by the end of this year

MUMBAI: The comedy film No Entry was helmed by Anees Bazmee and starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan in 2005, went on to become the highest-grossing movie of the year and a cult classic. A sequel is now being developed, some two decades later. According to the popular news portal, filming is anticipated to wrap up by June of the following year.

The well-known news portal was recently informed by a person close to the production, “Director Anees Bazmee will begin No Entry 2 with Diljit, Varun, and Arjun in double roles and 10 leading ladies from December 2024. He plans to wrap the shoot by June 2025. The sequel will be a Zee Studios – Bayview production.”

Earlier, a source had revealed to the popular news portal, “While Anees Bazmee is on board No Entry 2 as a writer and director, the makers have got together Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh to lead the film. The trio is supremely excited about the script and have given their nod to the story.”

“No Entry 2 is a hilarious script that has got every single person excited. The No Entry sequel will go on floors in December 2024 and be a big theatrical release in 2025, marking 20 years of the first part,” the source added.

According to reports, Anil Kapoor is not happy with the producer and his elder brother Boney Kapoor regarding the casting of the No Entry sequel. Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu, and Celina Jaitly starred in the original movie. Anil wanted to feature in the sequel, but unfortunately, Boney Kapoor revealed that there was "no space."

Since the information regarding the No Entry 2 casting emerged online, Anil has not talked with his brother. According to reports, the new leads in the No Entry sequel are Arjun Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, and Varun Dhawan.

“Before I could tell my brother Anil about the No Entry sequel and the cast involved, he got angry as the news was already leaked. It was unfortunate that it was leaked. I know he wanted to be a part of the No Entry sequel, but there was no space. I wanted to explain why I did what I did,” Boney told the popular news portal in an interview.
