MUMBAI : Koena Mitra, who recently slammed Bollywood filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt for calling Sushant Singh Rajput the next Parveen Babi and that he was mentally disturbed, feels that there's too much bullying and goondagiri in Bollywood. The actress shared that groupism and favouritism exists in Bollywood and nobody has the right to decide anyone's fate.

"I agree with Kangana. There's too much goondagiri in our and every industry. There is definitely groupsim and favouritism. If you talk about something or try to be vocal, they shut you down. They don't have any license or power to do that and the root cause of the goondagiri is these followers. The coward people who become chamchas are the biggest problem and if they are not around, these mafias won't exist. A lot of people fear failures, struggling, they want overnight success and they live in their fake imaginary world. These chelas, followers create mafias and monsters. I feel no one should bow down to anybody. No one has the license to decide someone's fate. If you are in an unpleasant situation, do not fear anybody. Be vocal about it, you have so many platforms. You raise questions and take them out of their comfort zones. It should become a habit, people should make it a practice. These Goondas have got the habit of hearing ‘Sirji’ and ‘Bhai’ from everyone," said Koena.

The actress also shared that she is not against every starkid and that they also deal with their own struggles. Koena stated that the star kids have easy access into the industry and despite giving 20 flops they still get big films whereas an outsider might not even be considered, "I don't think any star kid should be banned. There are many star kids who also struggle. There are many star kids who are amazing actors like Ranbir Kapoor. Humble, down to earth, no goondagiri, he quietly does his work. The only thing is star kids get easy access and outsiders have to struggle to get that. Another point is that star kids even after giving 20 flops will get a film, whereas outsiders may not be considered. At the same time, star kids also are under a lot of pressure as they continuously get compared to their father, mother or any other family member. They get to hear this constantly that you are not good enough, your father-mother was better. That's also a kind of pressure, a harsh comparison that they have to deal with throughout their career. So, there‘s a good and bad side as well. Despite 20-30 flops, they will still get a big film. They will always remain the first choice despite their flop films because of clans and groupism. I am not talking about everyone but there are a few. Like I said Ranbir Kapoor, he showed his maturity and intense side in his first few films only. So, there are these star kids who are good," she said.
