MUMBAI: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has taken the internet by storm! The actress posted several behind-the-scenes photos of herself getting ready for her Cannes red carpet debut on Tuesday. After attending the Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya just returned to Mumbai, and she looked stunning in her most recent Instagram photos.
One of the pictures shows Aishwarya applying mascara while gazing into the mirror while wearing a bathrobe. In another picture, Aishwarya is seen seated in her makeup chair and striking a sensuous pose. Fans are obviously fascinated with Aishwarya's hot photos.
One fan wrote, “She could have gone out like this on the red carpet and slayed.” Another one said, “I wish you could do this kinda hairstyle during Cannes.” “The most beautiful woman on earth,” a third user said.
A few days ago, Aishwarya Rai shared a bunch of photos from her mother’s birthday celebration. The actress took to her Instagram account to give an inside glimpse into her mommy’s special day. In the photos, Aishwarya holds her mom close as they pose along with the actress’ daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.
However, Aishwarya’s actor-husband Abhishek Bachchan was missing from the celebration. Sharing the photos, Aishwarya wrote, “Love you Birthday girl, dearest Mommy-Doddaaa.” The actress looked stunning in an all-black outfit.
At the Cannes Film Festival in 2024, Aishwarya made two appearances on the red carpet. She wore a stunning strapless black and gold gown for the first look. When the actress wore the eye-catching ensemble on the Cannes red carpet, she was met with roaring cheers.
For her second look, Aishwarya opted for a very dramatic blue and silver gown by designer Falguni Shane Peacock. However, the internet wasn’t very impressed by Aishwarya’s day 2 outfit for the star-studded gala. As soon as photos of Aishwarya surfaced on social media, netizens began criticising the actress’ stylist for doing “a poor job”.
Aishwarya made her screen debut in a saree designed by Neeta Lulla at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival. The Bollywood actress last appeared in Ponniyin Selvan: II, a pan-Indian film directed by Mani Ratnam, made a stunning impression on the Cannes red carpet last year by donning a silver hooded cape gown.
