MUMBAI: Actor Karan Deol who is two films old in the industry comes with a lot of hope and aspiration like every other actor. Coming from a family that has veteran actors like his grandfather Dharmendra, father Sunny Deol, and uncle Bobby Deol and Abhay Deol, Actor Karan has been made to sit on the driver’s seat since day one. 

The Bollywood debut of ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ did not meet up to the expectations of many.  The actor himself knew that it was not the kind of start that he was looking at. His next film ‘Velle’ came after a gap that did very well in cinemas and the same was released on an OTT platform which received a lot of accolades. 

Realizing and learning from his mistake, Karan has always been questioned on whether he will be able to reach the bar, set by the other Deol’s in his family.  Even in most of his interviews, the questions have always revolved around his family.

Actor Karan, finally breaks his silence on this. When asked, ‘As in who he wants to be recognized as from his family?’ he gave a firm and wrenching reply which clears the air all around him.  He says, “I am privileged and blessed enough to come from a family who has given so much to the industry. The learning and adoration for them will always be the same and something that, I as an actor will be taking from them throughout my career.  I am new to the industry and I am here to provide quality entertainment for all the viewers.  As I said, it feels really great to be recognized as an actor coming from such a legendary background but I would want to make my own mark. I want to be called as ‘Karan Deol.’ I want to break the shackles and create my own identity in the industry.”

He further adds, “For the same, I have been working on different skills.  Apart from acting, I have been working on my physique and skills like boxing and dancing.  As an artist, I am ready to give whatever it takes to give to that art. I am open to exploring all genres but action and thriller is something that I am really keen to do in the coming days.”

On the work front, Karan has not yet confirmed about his next project. But according to the news going around, he is been working on a project which cannot be disclosed now. He will also be seen in Apne 2 alongside Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol.  The movie will be a family entertainer that will include high obtain action and drama.
