MUMBAI: Actress and politician Jaya Bachchan has been in the headlines these days for all the wrong reasons. A while back she was trolled for being mean to paps, saying ‘I hope you double and fall’. Another video was shared showing the actress getting furious at photographers that went viral. Even this Diwali, the veteran star got angry with the paparazzi waiting outside her home, who wanted to get photos of the Bachchan family. She looked offended as she shooed the photographers away.
In the video that was shared, the actress could be seen angrily asking the paparazzi to not keep waiting outside her residence. She then chased everyone away. After the video was posted, netizens again savagely trolled Jaya for her rude behaviour. One user reacted saying, “Ab yeh kuch jayda ho kar rahi just becoz her last is bachan so she thinks she can talk to anything to anyone.” Another wrote, “Very rude woman and by the way no paps comes to see her.. They comes to see Amitabh, Abhishek, Aishwarya n navya nanda.”

Jaya has often been pulled up over her rude and insensitive behaviour towards photographers, media, and fans. Some days ago, the 74-year-old actress was spotted at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai with granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda. A pap tripped while taking her picture and she said, “serves you well.” She also added, “I hope you double and fall.” Jaya Bachchan faced a lot of backlash and strong criticism from celebs and netizens and was slammed her for her inconsiderate remarks.
Jaya again got into an altercation in October when photographers visited her during her trip to the Kali Bari temple in Bhopal with son Abhishek Bachchan. It was reported that she flipped out at the paparazzi waiting outside and began shouting at them, “What are you all doing? Puchha apne? Puchha? Hadd hoti hai.”
