MUMBAI : Throughout his career, Akshay Kumar has constantly maintained a unique connection with his audience. Akshay Kumar recently received an outpouring of gratitude and admiration from his devoted fans during a fan interaction session for one of his movies.

He was told by a fan that his incredible contribution to Indian cinema is what makes him the wonderful man that he is. When the fan described how he had taught him discipline, Akshay felt emotional and humbled as he listened to him.

The stunned fan stated, "Whatever you have given to India, we have the glory to be born in a time when we can witness you, Akshay. I have seen you since the time of Mr. Bond and I don't know what kind of affection I have for you there is always tears rolling down when I see you. Your contribution is massive more than anyone else can do because you have taught us discipline. We cry when we see you."

The movie Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue, starring Akshay, was just released in theatres. The late Jaswant Singh Gill, who led India's first successful coal mine rescue attempt, is the inspiration for the movie, which is based on a true story. The film is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, while Vashu, Jackky, Deepshikha, and Ajay Bhagnani are the producers of the film.

On the work front, Akshay has upcoming projects like Sky Force, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Hera Pheri 3, Welcome To The Jungle, and Singham Again.
