MUMBAI: Since he feels that an actor's true success comes from the affection and respect of the public, Pankaj Tripathi was recently invited to be the Guest of Honour for the annual India Day Parade in New York. There, he obliged a sea of fans for selfies.
Many people asked to take selfies with the actor after the event. The area was fenced for safety and security concerns, which limited the amount of time the well-known actor could spend with his admirers.

That didn't deter Pankaj, though, as he knelt on the ground to take selfies with those behind the barricades, making sure that as many people as possible could record the experience.
Pankaj stated, “I have always believed that an actor's real success lies in the love and respect of the audience. My fans have supported me throughout my journey, and I feel it's my duty to reciprocate that love in whatever way I can.”
Speaking of his latest release Stree 2, Pankaj said, “And I was overwhelmed by the warmth and affection of the people there. When I saw how much it meant to them to take a picture with me, I couldn't let a barricade stand in the way. I'm deeply grateful for the love they've shown me, and moments like these remind me why I chose this profession.”
