Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan famed director Kabir Khan got involved into a war of words with a journalist during the trailer launch of his upcoming venture Phantom today (25 July).
At the press conference of the launch of Phantom’s trailer, a journo quizzed Saif about “doing anti-Pakistan films like Agent Vinod and more recently Phantom”.
But much before Saif could answer, Kabir decided to clear the air and justify by stating that it is the mindset of the people to believe that all terrorist organizations are from Pakistan only. But, in reality, few organizations which are based in the country (Pakistan) do not represent the entire nation and his films including Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Phantom simply try to break that stereotype.
He further went on to add that, “we need to eliminate the extremist elements in both the countries (India and Pakistan)”.
But it seems that Kabir’s statement did not go down well with another journalist. And he got into a heated argument with Kabir mentioning that he was wrong to establish the point that many extremist organizations are also in India.
However, when the situation went out of control, the presenter called off the question answer session with the media.
