Advertising legend, writer-cum-lyricist and poet Prasoon Joshi, who celebrates his 42nd birthday today, has a lot of reasons to celebrate in a grand manner.
Joshi, who has been hugely appreciated as the scriptwriter of the super-hit Bhaag Milkha Bhaag for his intricate and soulful writing, is now being praised for his songwriting prowess with two diverse genres in the recent project Satyagraha attracting masses. The songs “Raghupati Raghav raja ram, uthh kar ne hai kuch kaam” and “Raske Bhare’ are being loved by all.
In fact, Joshi’s first project as a writer Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag entered the Rs 100 crore club and just like his script in the much lauded film, these recent songs too have people singing praises of him. So, in short, it’s a double whammy for Joshi clocking one success after another.
So what’s next for this CEO of McCann Erickson, known for turning the fortunes of many multinational/ Indian brands? “I only listen to my heart and love working with people like Prakash Jha.”
His recent poem for the Uttarakhand tragedy “Mera desh ro raha hai” narrated by Amitabh Bachchan reflects this heartfelt quality of his work. Whether it is poetry, the script of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag or the songs of Satyagraha, this gifted writer weaves sheer magic with his pen.
We at Tellychakkar.com eagerly await his next venture and wish this multi faceted man a very happy birthday and loads of luck for his upcoming projects.
