MUMBAI: Kevin Jonas, a singer-songwriter, recently revealed that he has skin cancer. The 'Leave Before You Love Me' singer revealed on social media that he underwent surgery to treat skin cancer.
He captioned a video of himself at a medical facility before and after the treatment, "Friendly reminder to get your moles checked," according to People magazine.

As the video begins, Jonas is seen laying down for a selfie. "So today I'm having a basal cell carcinoma removed from my head," he explained, moving the camera closer to the exact spot of the skin abnormality.
Kevin further added, “Yes, that is an actual little skin cancer guys that started to grow, and now I have to get surgery to remove it”
Mayo Clinic revealed, “Basal cell carcinoma is a type of skin cancer" that "begins in the basal cells — a type of cell within the skin that produces new skin cells as old ones die."
They further added, “often appears as a slightly transparent bump on the skin, though it can take other forms.”
Kevin shared a video where he spoke about his condition and urged people to get moles on their skin checked to be sure that they are not cancerous.

The Jonas Brothers are currently on a break from touring. They last toured on 30th April in Cancun,Mexico.
