MUMBAI: Producer-actress Arushi Nishank, who is known for her music videos Teri Galliyon Se, Wafa Na Raas Aayee, and Jo Tumko Jhooth Lage, as well as film Tarini and recent web series which she produced Life Hill Gayi on Disney+ Hotstar, says that the best part of being part of showbiz is the chance to be creative. She adds that the power to inspire people through your work makes all the effort worthwhile.

“The best part of being a part of the industry I would say is the opportunity to bring creative stories to life. The end result is always bigger than the vision, it's ability to inspire people, touch hearts is what every creator craves for. The creative process, the collaboration with talented individuals, and the chance to continuously learn and grow are the moments that make me truly grateful to be a part of this industry,” she says.

She adds, “The worst I would say would be the constant pressure to do good in everything you do. The constant love and hate after every project is a part of this industry and that is what scares and overwhelms at the same time. But at the end of the day, it is how you react to every situation and come out stronger each time realising your own worth. For me personally, I wouldn't trade this for anything else.”

Meanwhile, she says that staying in shape and hitting the gym regularly is something that she makes sure to never miss. “I love working out and staying fit. No matter how busy life gets, I make it a point to hit the gym. For me health is my priority, it is what brings calmness to me. It is the only time of the day which belongs to me.  I’ve learned to be flexible and listen to my body, knowing that it’s not about perfection but consistency,” she says.

Ask her what is the most important thing required to become an actor, and she says, “I believe the most important thing required to become an actor is authenticity, that is being true to yourself and the audience. It helps you connect with the audience. Along with this I feel having the passion and commitment towards the craft really helps. The journey of being an actor is always filled with ups and downs, and you have to be prepared for both the love and the criticism at any given time. But when you’re truly passionate, you find the strength to keep going, to learn from every experience, and to keep growing as an artist.”
