Raj Chakraborty’s Adventures of Jojo enters second week

Adventures of Jojo, a children’s adventure film, produced by SVF and directed by Raj Chakraborty, is performing well at the box office. Starring Jashojeet Banerjee and Samiul Alam in central roles, the film has entered its second week. Raj announced the good news on his social media handle.

Today, he shared a poster of the film and wrote, ‘After huge appreciation #AdventuresOfJojo is entering the 2nd Week in theatres with great vigour!’

Srijit Mukherji opines on Pavel’s Rosogolla

Pavel, according to Srijit Mukherji, has scored big with his film Rosogolla. It’s a recently released Bengali film based on the life of Nabin Chandra Das, creator of the iconic Bengali delicacy rosogolla. Directed by Pavel, the film features Ujaan and Abantika in lead roles. Actors like Rajatava Dutta, Kharaj Mukherjee, Chiranjeet Chakraborty, Aparajita Adhya, and Subhashree Ganguly amongst others play the other important roles.

Today, director Srijit, whose upcoming films include Shah Jahan Regency and Vinci Da, shared his opinion on Rossogolla on Twitter. He wrote, ‘Maybe it could be shorter, less syrupy at places with better VFX, but in all Roshogolla will leave a sweet taste in the mouth of even the cinematically diabetic. Steeped in the rich cultural & cullinary heritage of Bengal and armed with a fresh lead pair, @Pavelistan scores big!’

Parno Mittra misses her Chupkotha days. Chupkotha is a Hoichoi Original film starring Parno Mittra, Shataf Fiqar, and Mainak Banerjee. Uronchondi to screen at Jodhpur International Film Festival

Uronchondi is Abhishek Saha’s debut film. Backed by Bengal superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee’s nIdeas, it is Bengali cinema’s first ever road movie. It stars Chitra Sen, Amartya Ray, Sudipta Chakraborty, and Rajnandini Paul in lead roles. This Sunday, Uronchondi will be screened at Jodhpur International Film Festival.

Gaurav Chakrabarty wraps up shoot for Bhootchakro Private Limited

Gaurav Chakrabarty has completed the shoot for Bhootchakro Private Limited last night. It’s an upcoming film directed by Haranath Chakraborty and starring Gaurav Chakrabarty, Soham Chakraborty, Bonny Sengupta, Srabanti Chatterjee, and Rittika Sen.

Today, Gaurav, who next will also be seen in Sagardwipe Jawker Dhan, took to Twitter to update his fans.

Produced by Surinder Films and directed by Ravi Kinagi, Jamai Badal is an upcoming film featuring Soham Chakraborty, Koushani Mukherjee, Hiran Chatterjee, and Paayel Sarkar. The title track of the film has been released today.
