MUMBAI: The Bollywood couple set sail across Auckland’s Waitematā Harbour, soaking in the Autumn sun salty breezes, sharing moments of surprise
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa were spotted helming their boat across the calm blues of the Hauraki Gulf in Auckland, New Zealand. Seeking a day of adventure to themselves in the city, the couple drove a mere 20 minutes to Auckland's iconic Viaduct area to go America's Cup Sailing.
On a crisp morning sail that looks straight out of a postcard, the couple was seen basking in the soft blush of the morning sun aboard an America’s Cup sailing yacht – embraced by the serenity of open waters with contagious smiles and wind-swept hair.
Amid the sailboat’s elegant white canvas and the salty breeze off the Waitematā Harbour, the couple took the wheel — quite literally — of their own adventure. One standout moment captured them both behind the helm steering together in a frame full of warmth and connection.
As the iconic Auckland skyline faded into the distance, the couple was seen sharing quiet laughs and whimsical moments while discovering pristine harbour views and enjoying each other’s company in the City of Sails. Captivated by the view, Rajkummar leaned in to run his hands through the clear waters.
The couple were smitten and thrilled by the opportunity to sail Auckland’s clear waters, with a morning to themselves. Cruising the blues for a good two hours, the couple couldn’t hide their excitement, “Raj promised me a morning rush, and America’s Cup Sailing gave me just that! Auckland’s vibrant waterfront is a feat on its own, and the chance to experience this with Raj blended our day with a bit of adventure alongside the city’s natural beauty,” remarks Patralekhaa.
The ease and breeze certainly served as a metaphor for their journey together — navigating life side by side, one horizon at a time, in a journey as effortless and unfiltered as the scenic beauty of Aotearoa New Zealand.
