A report in a tabloid insinuating that the release of Satya 2 , which was earlier slated for 25 October, has further been postponed from its new release date of 8 November. Livid and outraged RGV bursts out, “This is nothing but a pathetic attempt to sabotage my film. I am quoted in the article as saying my film is being postponed. I never spoke to the journalist who wrote this article! I don’t know who he/she is. And I never said it is being postponed. How where and why does this insinuation come from?” Yes, how where and why? “Your guess is as good as mine,” drawls RGV sarcastically. “L R Media who partnered the production of Satya 2 with us did try to get a court injunction against the release of our film. But our release in unaffected. We are going through with the release regardless of the hurdles. Fortunately for us there are no other releases this week. So we have a free run until Sanjay Bhansali’s Ram Leela releases next week.” In the meanwhile Ramu’s team has initiated legal action against the publications which have announced the postponement of Satya 2.
