Ranbir Kapoor to play a superhero in Ayan Mukerji's next

Following the likes of Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan who tried their hands enacting superhero characters, Ranbir Kapoor has given his nod to play a superhero in Ayan Mukerji’s next. While both Hrithik and Shah Rukh managed to pull off the superhero characters with aplomb that resulted in their respective films to be a rage amongst the masses, Ayan is supposedly ready to take on the challenge to match up to their level. The director, who has been associated with Ranbir in films like Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, seems to be confident that the actor could carry out the role well. It is said that Ayan has already discussed the project with Ranbir who is more than willing to work on it. The actor, who trusts Ayan's abilities and has enjoyed working with the filmmaker so far, is looking forward to their next outing together. This film will be mounted on a much bigger scale than Ayan’s earlier projects. After the tremendous success of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ayan is presently holidaying in Barcelona.
