A freak shoulder injury is proving to be Ranveer Singh's Achilles heel. The actor got operated in Hinduja hospital today to get his shoulder fixed immediately.

The actor who has been spotted wearing a sling at his recent public appearances picked up the injury while shooting for Bajirao Mastani. Ranveer was driving a horse when he fell off it and injured his shoulder. Thankfully, tests revealed that he had not suffered any fracture.

Although Ranveer was hoping to heal himself with the help of medicines, surgical opinions recommended by various specialists finally made him agree to go under the knife. And for all those who thought the operation could bog him down, you are wrong. The infectiously energetic Ranveer was happily tweeting about his condition from inside the hospital. The actor even posted a picture that showed him wired and bandaged and all set to be operated upon.

"Live tweet from operation....about to get knocked out...he injected my neck...whoa!"

The actor will reportedly be out of action for a month and would need complete bed rest and physiotherapy to heal well.
