Rati Agnihotri's husband denies 'assault' charge

Rati Agnihotri's husband denies assaulting her.

Anil Virwani, Rati Agnihotri's architect husband has denied all assault allegations levelled against him by his actress wife.

It may be recalled that Rati had filed a police complaint on Saturday accusing her husband of physically abusing her on 7th March. Post her complaint, the cops registered cases against Anil under various sections of IPC namely sections 498A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 350 (use of criminal force) and 506 (criminal intimidation).

Anil who was called by the cops to record his statement on Sunday categorically denied all allegations levelled against him by Rati. The police have not yet arrested Anil and are now contemplating on taking the statement of the couple's domestic help who is said to have been a witness to the alleged fight and drama.
