MUMBAI: Rocking Star Yash has once again shown why he’s among the most influential superstars in Indian cinema. Earlier this morning, it was announced that for the first time ever, the superstar would launch a Hindi film’s trailer — and the honour went to Farhan Akhtar’s much-awaited war drama, 120 Bahadur.
The trailer of the grand war spectacle dropped today and received an overwhelming response online. Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, the film stars Farhan Akhtar in the lead and features lyrics penned by veteran Javed Akhtar.
Yash took to his social media to share the trailer, writing, “Honouring our brave, a legendary true story from our nation's history. 120 Bahadur - Trailer out now. Wishing @FarOutAkhtar, @RazyGhai, @ritesh_sid, @vishalrr, @J10Kassim and the team great success with this important film.”
Farhan Akhtar, moved by the gesture, replied with a warm message, “Yash… thank you so much,” adding a salute emoji and a heart.
The interaction quickly went viral, with fans celebrating the rare and exciting crossover between Bollywood and Sandalwood. Yash’s support for 120 Bahadur added emotional weight and buzz to the launch, making it a moment to remember for both industries.
An Excel Entertainment production, 120 Bahadur hits cinemas on November 21, 2025.
Meanwhile, Yash is gearing up for his next big release, the Pan-India magnum opus Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups, which is set to arrive in theatres on March 19, 2026.
