Rowdy Rathore 2: Sanjay Leela Bhansali gives MAJOR update, will Akshay Kumar be a part of it?

MUMBAI: We know Sanjay Leela Bhansali as a director who has given us some really artistic movies with commercial success as his movies have a grand, royal and yet very raw appeal to it. The director has really got the perfect grasp of his audience and knows what they want. However, there is one movie which is completely opposite to his filmography. Rowdy Rathore, which released in 2012, was directed by Prabhu Deva but for this movie, Sanjay Leela Bhansali turned producer and this project was very different from the usual work that he chooses to do.

The massy movie, starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, was a major success at the box office. Akshay Kumar has been taking up a lot of projects recently but the fans are very much curious to know about the sequels that he might appear in like Hera Pheri 3, Welcome 3, and a few more. However, fans are now curious about one more movie and that’s Rowdy Rathore.

The reason for this curiosity is Pinkvilla’s recent report according to which Sanjay Leela Bhansali is excited to produce the sequel for Rowdy Rathore and has also locked the core plot of the movie. The question arises – Will Akshay Kumar be a part of the movie? According to Pinkvilla’s source, “We will know that at the right time. It could be Akshay Kumar, a new hero, or maybe even a two-hero film”

Akshay Kumar was last seen in Singham Again and is now ready for his upcoming movie Sky Force.
