MUMBAI :  Kajol ruled the silver screens in the 90s and early 2000s. But, after getting married and having kids, the actress slowed down and became quite choosy with the projects that she did. After Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, she took a break of five years and made a comeback with the 2006 release Fanaa. Later, again after 2010, she took a break and made a comeback in 2015. But she has been very choosy when it comes to doing films. 
 
Now, Kajol is gearing up for the release of Salaam Venky which is slated to release on 9th December 2022. So, before the film releases, let’s look at how much the last five films of the actress collected at the box office…
 
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior

Kajol had an extended cameo in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, but she left a strong mark with her performance in the film, especially the song Tinak Tinak. The movie was a blockbuster at the box office, and it collected Rs. 279.55 crores.

Helicopter Eela

Before Tanhaji, Kajol was seen in Helicopter Eela. Though Kajol gave a fantastic performance in the movie, the film flopped and only collected Rs. 4.13 crore at the box office. 
 
Dilwale

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer Dilwale didn’t do great business at the box office. The film had only collected Rs. 148.72 crores at the box office. 
 
Toonpur Ka Superhero

Ajay Devgn and Kajol had teamed up for Toonpur Ka Superhero which was a live-action animated film. It was something quite new for Bollywood at that time and that’s why the movie didn’t do well at the box office, and just collected Rs. 3.55 crore. 
 
We Are Family

The 2010 release We Are Family was a beautiful film, and Kajol’s performance in it was simply excellent. But, even that film had not left a mark at the box office. It collected Rs. 21.64 crores. 
 
Now, let’s see what response Salaam Venky will do at the box office.
