An investigation is still ongoing, and some people who were implicated in the entire scandal have already been arrested. The Mumbai Police have disclosed that Anmol Bishoi, the younger brother of notorious criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, gave shooters orders to threaten the actor.

In the matter of the firing incident outside Salman Khan's home, a chargesheet has been filed. According to Mumbai Police, Anmol Bishnoi gave the order for a shooter to open fire outside the Bollywood star's Bandra flat in order to frighten him. According to an India News article, the police believe that the directives were a part of a larger scheme to establish the Bishnoi gang's dominance in Mumbai for financial and other advantages.

A 1735-page chargesheet that was submitted to a special court includes audio snippets that the Crime Branch claims show the shooters speaking with Anmol Bishnoi before to the shooting. It's been revealed that Anmol urged the shooters Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta to appear fearless by not wearing a helmet and by smoking cigarettes.

The chargesheet disclosed their conversation; “Fire in a way that Bhai (Salman) gets scared, keep smoking so that you appear fearless on (CCTV) camera," He added,. "You will create history by doing this job and your name will be there in all newspapers and other media.”

Salman Khan recalled the incident at 4:55 am where he heard a fire-cracker-like sound. The Pathaan actor said in a statement, ““There had been attempts to hurt me and my family prior to this as well. I have learned that Lawrence Bishnoi has taken responsibility for the attack from social media. So, I believe that it is the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who have carried out the firing on my balcony.”
