Sanjay Dutt seeks parole extension

Sanjay Dutt, who is currently out on his second parole, has once again applied for another extension to nurse his ailing wife Manyata back to health. Manyata who was detected with tumour in her lungs was operated upon last month. She was discharged from the hospital last week and Sanjay apparently wants to be by her side in these trying times. Sanjay who is serving his jail term for illegally possessing firearms during the 93' riots, has been out on parole since 21 December 2013. A month's parole that was supposed to come to an end on 21 January 2014 was extended by a month till 21 February, as Manyata was still in hospital then. As this extended date now draws to an end, Sanjay hopes to receive a month's more extension. Let's wait and see if government authorities will accede to yet another extension request of Sanjay.
