Sanjay Dutt undergoing preliminary tests in Mumbai Hospital

MUMBAI: Sanjay Dutt was admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital after he complained of breathlessness. After getting discharged from the hospital, the actor informed his fans through social media that he will be taking a short break from work for his treatment. Soon later, it was reported that the actor is diagnosed with lung cancer. The latest reports state that Sanjay is undergoing preliminary tests in a Mumbai hospital and may return home soon after.

A source said, “Despite knowing this will be a long and tough journey, they are determined to go about their lives as normally as possible, confident that this too shall pass. Right now, the preliminary tests are being conducted. So, Sanjay is not expected to be in the hospital for a long time. Once the reports are out, he will return home but hospital visits will be frequent."

Meanwhile, as Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanyata Dutt, who was in Dubai during the lockdown recently returned to India, she is in quarantine. In the meantime, Dutt’s sister Priya Dutt is accompanying her brother during his hospital visits. On the other hand, as latest reports suggested that the Sanjay Dutt will be flying out to the US or Malaysia for his further treatment, his wife Maanyata Dutt shared an official statement on the same revealing that the further travel plans will only depend on how and when the pandemic situation eases.
