MUMBAI: The renowned actor Vijay Raaz has been cast out of the upcoming comedy sequel Son of Sardaar 2, which is a shocking incident. The decision is said to be the result of disturbing rumors about his spot boy and allegations of unprofessional behavior on the set. The ensemble cast of the film is presently being filmed in London, including Mrunal Thakur, Deepak Dobriyal, Chunky Panday, and Ajay Devgn.

In the movie, Sanjay Mishra has now taken Vijay Raaz's place. “The role will now be played by Sanjay Mishra,” co-producer Kumar Mangat Pathak confirmed to the widely-read news outlet.

Mangat stated a disturbing incident involving Raaz's spot boy, who allegedly sexually assaulted a hotel staff member while intoxicated, but he blamed Raaz's conduct on set as the main cause for his removal.

Addressing these serious allegations, Vijay Raaz sought to distance himself from the actions of his staff. “These are two different stories, and there is a difference of at least 10 hours between the two incidents. I was removed from the film on August 4 at 2 PM, and the episode at the hotel took place at 11 PM that night. Don’t try to mix the two. I have nothing to do with it, but I don’t encourage such behavior. I am no longer working with the spot boy,” Raaz clarified.

The actor went on to say that he wasn't fired for misbehavior but rather for not greeting Ajay Devgn to the set. “I reached the location ahead of schedule for a trial. Ajay Devgn was busy, so I didn’t greet him immediately and instead chatted with some friends. Thirty minutes later, Mr. Kumar Mangat came to me and said, ‘Aap film se nikal jaaye, hum aapko nikal rahe hai.’ The only misconduct from my end was that I didn’t greet Mr. Ajay Devgn. I was removed within 30 minutes of arriving on set.”

On the other hand, Kumar Mangat responded to the sexual harassment charge and disputed Raaz's version of what happened. “His staff is his responsibility. Imagine working with such a demon in the team. We received an official email from the hotel, and strict action will be taken against all offenders. As I said, we are happy to disassociate with Vijay Raaz and do not wish to work with such a person.”

Amidst the controversy surrounding Vijay Raaz, the production proceeds according to plan, with Sanjay Mishra taking the role and London filming moving forward.
