Shah Rukh Khan teams up with Rohit Shetty to produce Marathi films

Shah Rukh Khan has teamed up with Rohit Shetty to make Marathi films. This was announced by Rohit before he took a flight to South Africa to host the fifth season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. “We are aiming to produce Marathi films but it is too early to elaborate upon. A few friends from the Marathi film industry have already narrated their scripts to me. I liked couple of them and I look forward to producing these ventures,” he said in a statement. It is said that the two will produce six regional films under their joint banner (yet to be announced). It is said that Rohit spoke of this to the Don actor to which the latter showed interest in funding these projects.
