Shahid Afridi didn't demand any explanation - Ali Zafar

Ali Zafar
Ever since the release of Total Siyapaa's trailer, its lead actor Ali Zafar, has landed himself in an unwanted controversy in Pakistan. Reason being the dialogue that Ali delivers in the movie where he crucifies popular Pakistani cricketer, all in good humour though. "Hum ( Pakistani) bhi Shahid Afridi se pareshaan hain," says Ali in the movie. Understandably, the dialogue has not gone down well with the Pakistani locals. Sources say that when Afridi himself heard the dialogue, he wrote a letter to Reliance Entertainment demanding to know in what context his name has been used. But Ali has now taken it upon himself to clarify the entire controversy. For starters, the actor says that Afridi hasn't sought any explanation regarding the dialogue. "Afridi did not demand any explanation regarding the dialogue. He is a great sportsman and great sportsmen have great sportsmen spirit," wrote Ali on his Twitter page. The actor also requested everyone to see the movie to understand how the dialogue and the banter plays out. “So relax baby. Have some sense of humour," tweeted Ali. Now let's wait and watch how much Siyapaa this movie actually creates after its release. We hope that the dialogue would be taken by all concerned in the right spirit.
