MUMBAI: We know what makes a movie successful. It’s all about the actors and their performances, the direction, the script, the screenplay and so much more. But what really makes a movie memorable? It’s the songs and the visualization (or the music video).

We have seen so many successful movies but we remember majority of them all for the songs they had and for the kind of picturisation they had. There are also movies that did not do so well at the box office or even as per the audience reviews but something that we don’t get over are the songs that those movies had.

Due to this success or the acceptance from audience, it leaves a mark on the audience when we see the actors pairing up once again with the same singers and giving some amazing songs once again. While a lot of actors don’t focus much on such things, we are here with a list actor-singer duos that worked out great and gave us gems to remember.

Emraan Hashmi – Atif Aslam

There’s no way this duo isn’t making up to the list. Emraan Hashmi is an amazing actor with very unique choices of characters but we must say, most of his early movies had the best of the songs. Surely Emraan Hashmi movies have a great recall value due to the music but out of it all, songs like Aadat and Woh Lamhein will remain in our hearts forever.

Shahid Kapoor – Sachet Tandon

Relatively a new duo but it has a great impact over the audience. We first saw this duo in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Kabir Singh. This is when the audience got to know about Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur. But Kabir Singh is not where it stopped as we then Sachet Tandon again lending his voice to Shahid Kapoor for songs like Maiyya Mainu, Mehram and Jind Meriye.

Aamir Khan – Ram Sampath

Aamir Khan has given us some amazing movies and with that, even a great show like Satyamev Jayate in the year 2012. At the end of every episode, we saw a musical performance and one of the performance that stayed with the audience forever was by Ram Sampath when he performed O ri Chiraiya. Since then, we have see Ram Sampath lending his precious voice for Aamir Khan’s world. Recently we also got to hear ‘Sajni’ and while we know that Arijit Singh is the one that sung the song, we should also know the effect Ram Sampath brings to that song.

Hrithik Roshan – Vishal Dadlani

While on one hand Vishal Dadlani is known for his roaring voice hat has given us some amazing party songs, we can say the same for Hrithik Roshan because in recent years, the actors has also given us some groovy numbers. We don’t need to imagine what would happen if these two powerhouses came together. We already know with songs like Sher Khull Gaye, Jai Jai Shiv Shankar, Bang Bang and many more.

Salman Khan – SP Balasubramaniam

Salman Khan is one of the most loved actors in the Hindi movie industry but there was a time when this handsome hunk was cute and in his starting days, he gave us some amazing tracks like Dil Deewana, Pehla Pehla Pyar, Mere Rang Mein Rang Ne Wali and many more. The pair was very much appreciate.

Shah Rukh Khan – Abhijeet

Shah Rukh Khan or even known as SRK, roared at the box office with his comeback but there’s no way we will overlook how fantastic his starting days were where we got to hear some songs like Suno Na Suno Na, I Am The Best, Woh Ladki Jo and many more.

Shah Rukh Khan – Sonu Nigam

SRK did not just give amazing songs with Abhijeet Bhattacharya but also with Sonu Nigam. Some of the songs that made a home in our minds forever, like Do Pal, Maahi Ve, Suraj Hua Madhham and many more.

Rajesh Khanna – Kishore Kumar

Rajesh Khanna is loved as one of the earliest superstars but it had great credit due for the kind of success the movie. Songs that the duo together like  O Mere Dil Ke Chain, Ye Jo Mohabbat Hai, Yeh Shaam Mastani and many more.

Amitabh Bachchan – Kishore Kumar

Rajesh Khanna is not the only superstar who has songs with Kishore Kumar. Even Amitabh Bachchan is one of the actors who have given his best with songs like Pag Ghunghroo Baandh, Jahan Mil Jayen Chaar Yaar, Aaj Rapat Jaayen Toh and many more.

Shammi Kapoor – Mohd. Rafi

Last but definitely not the least. Shammi Kapoor and no matter what the age, they were all ther once and while Ranbir Kapoor has become a heartthrob for today, Shama Kapoor gave out hits at his times teaming up with Mohd. Rafi for songs like Aajkal Tere Mere Charche, Badan Pe Sitare Lapete Hue, Mujhe Kitna Pyaar Hai Tumse and so many more.
