The news of former Mr India contest winner Manoj Patil allegedly trying to commit suicide has gone viral.
Manoj allegedly tried to end his life by consuming sleeping pills at his residence in suburban Oshiwara in the wee hours today.

After this tragic incident, which took place between 12.30 AM and 1 AM at Manoj's residence, his family members rushed him to a hospital where his condition as his condition got critical.
Amid all this, Bollywood's well-known actor and model Sahil Khan's name has been dragged in the matter.
Patil had demanded action against a Bollywood actor Sahil for allegedly defaming him on social media and creating problems in his professional life.
The police said they had demanded that an FIR be lodged against the actor. In the letter, he also stated that Sahil Khan defamed his nutrition shop on Instagram.

Manoj Patil’s suicide letter which is now viral on social media, states that: He was committing suicide because of mental distress and stigma. Manoj, who became Mr India, had started preparations for Mr Olympia.
Sahil Khan also wanted to take part in the tournament. Manoj has alleged that Sahil was harassing him to keep him away from it and not to participate in Mr Olympia.
As per the latest report, Manoj is out of danger, meanwhile, an official at the Oshiwara police station said no FIR has been registered so far.
Patil, born in 1992, won the Mr India Men's Physique Overall Championship in 2016.
