MUMBAI :In a surprising twist of fate, late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s parents welcomed their second child on 17th March 2024. The late singer’s uncle Chamkaur Singh confirmed that Sidhu’s mother Charan Kaur and his father Balkaur Singh opted for In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) technique to conceive.
Now in a turn of events, Balkaur Singh has alleged that he has been harassed over the birth of their second child. The government has questioned why the matter was not brought to the attention of the Chief Minister or the Health Minister before an investigation. The Punjab government has now sent a show-cause notice to Ajoy Sharma, Principal Health Secretary who Sidhu Moosewala’s father alleged was harassing him.
The government notice read, “However, you proceeded to act in the matter without bringing this issue to the notice of your Minister-in-charge and Hon'ble Chief Minister and without taking any orders from them. This is a serious lapse on your part. Hence, you are asked to show cause within two weeks as to why proceedings under the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969 should not be initiated against you.”
Sidhu was killed on the 29th of May and the incident took place after the Punjab Police withdrew the security cover of 424 people and that list included Sidhu.
